CHP debates Istanbul | Gürsel Tekin: "We have become unable to do our job"

The Istanbul debate continues within the Republican People's Party.
Following the decision of the Istanbul 45th Civil Court of First Instance to suspend the chairman and the management elected at the CHP 38th Ordinary Istanbul Provincial Congress as a precautionary measure, Tekin, who was appointed to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Management, made a statement in front of the building in Sarıyer.
Recalling that CHP Chairman Özgür Özel was at the provincial building yesterday, Tekin said, "Of course, our Chairman is always the apple of our eye. Whenever he comes, the building is enough for all of us, for all party members, for everyone. There is no problem."
Tekin, who stated that he has chosen to remain silent as much as possible, especially in recent days, to resolve the issue, said, "But I have a request here, especially to two of my friends, the executives of television stations, whom I consider independent and unaffiliated media outlets, and whose broadcasts I regularly appear on. So, you put Aziz İhsan Aktaş's friends on the air every day. They spend hours on air with lies and false slander against us."
"WE HAVE BECOME UNABLE TO DO OUR JOB"
Tekin stated that they were unable to do their jobs due to unnecessary arguments and continued:
"Every day is a building debate. Let's go here, let's go there. This building is officially the provincial headquarters of the Republican People's Party (CHP) right now, but when it changes tomorrow, as long as it has a six-arrow emblem on it, we can go anywhere in Turkey and carry out our work there.
We don't have any problems. We don't want to be a part of this constant, unnecessary, false, and inaccurate debate. I'm asking you. I know how powerful this trio is. I know what they're up to. We're human, too. Let us do our job. If you say, 'No, brother, let's get into constant polemics,' I'll upset many of my friends. I don't want to upset them."
DECISION OF THE COURT IN ANKARA
When asked by a journalist about the Ankara 3rd Civil Court of First Instance's decision regarding the Istanbul Provincial Congress, Tekin replied, "I'm not concerned with these decisions at all. The decision we have at hand right now is to do your duty. We are bound by this decision unless a contrary decision is made tomorrow."
When asked, "The address that has attracted attention lately is Sarıyer, and you are the name. Have you had any contact before the hearing on September 15th?", Tekin said the following:
"I have no contact. We are not preoccupied with the September 15th coup. We are aware of the obstacles we face. Despite this, we are trying to carry out our work with patience and determination. We are facing such attacks that it is unbelievable.
It seems to me that we're breaking a major complicity. So, now I'm looking at the party deserters. Are you Bahadır? What are you, brother? You're a teacher, it's shameful, it's a sin. We Republican People's Party members argue and compete with each other, but remember, tomorrow we'll all be together.
Just two years ago, you executed Mr. İnce. Especially the television channels and newspapers close to us. Today, we are side by side with Mr. İnce again. You have been lynching Mr. (Kemal) Kılıçdaroğlu for the last 1.5 years. Now it's our turn. What do you want, friends? What do you really want? We will not be defeated by the Aziz İhsans.
"WE WILL ASSIGN OUR DUTY WITH OUR BLESSINGS"
When asked about the list he allegedly submitted for entry to the Provincial Headquarters building, Tekin said, "It's a complete lie. I have nothing to do with the list. I just called my friends. I'm so full of emotions that our party workers can't come to their jobs. What do you want, brother? Don't mess with the livelihood of those working here. Let them come and do their jobs. Since our friends couldn't come, they submitted that list so our friends could clean the building. There's nothing else. That's beyond my knowledge."
